The Care Manager Certified (CMC) designation is obtained through the National Academy of Certified Care Managers (NACCM). To maintain certification, CMCs are required to participate in continuing education and professional development. Certification is renewed every three years to ensure that Care Managers are practicing at the highest professional level.
